Violinist Lauren
Violinist Lauren is a talented UK based electric and acoustic violinist, performing classical, classical cross-over, pop, bollywood, chill-out lounge music and improvisation over DJ. Lauren has been in high demand ever since graduating from the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music in 2014, having already performed at numerous events not only within the U.K but also internationally.
Background Music
Lauren can provide classical or easy listening pop background music as well as chill out lounge sets. These can easily be tailored around the client’s needs and bookings can be for anything between 30 minutes up to 3 hours. This option can be performed on either acoustic or electric violin with high quality backing tracks, piano accompaniment or unaccompanied.
Wedding ceremonies
Lauren frequently plays for wedding ceremonies and has 5 years experience working in the wedding industry as a solo violinist. Clients are free to choose their own music for the bridal entrance, signing of the register and exit of the couple but suggestions are available if required. Lauren can also provide music as the guests are arriving and later at the drinks reception or wedding breakfast.
Bollywood Violin
Lauren was naturally drawn to the Bollywood music scene, not only through high demand but also because of her love for world music. Lauren now has up to 3 hours of Bollywood music available, and all can be performed as a roaming memorised set. Whether you would like the entrance of the bride, or an upbeat show at your wedding, Lauren can provide it all with her extensive knowledge and experience in this area. These sets are performed with high quality backing tracks and Lauren is able to wear Asian style clothing if needed. Lauren can also perform alongside Bollywood dancers and a saxophonist.
Upbeat Pop Show
Lauren can perform stunning arrangements of modern pop incorporated with her own virtuosic improvisation to create an upbeat show. This is an energetic performance and would usually be on wireless electric violin, allowing Lauren to move freely around the room to entertain guests.
Classical Cross-over Show
Inspired by great artists such as Vanessa Mae, David Garrett and Lindsey Stirling, Lauren has been working hard over the past year to create her own unique electric violin show. This is a 30 minute set of classical pieces adapted into modern electronic music suitable for the stage. From classics such as Storm and Palladio through to new arrangements written by Lauren herself, this show provides something original and exciting for your event. Staging, light show and dancers are all available for this option. Improvisation over DJ Lauren has performed numerous times over DJ at private parties, clubs and events throughout the UK. Anything is possible for this option, just send Lauren your genre or set list and she will provide you with an energetic bespoke performance.
