Avenue Acoustic Duo perform a wide range of popular cover songs in their own individual, stripped-back style.  They are becoming well known for their ‘mash-ups’ where they combine two popular songs to form something unique – Ruthie has even been known to break out her rapping skills!
Leicestershire based Avenue Acoustic Duo are a rarity on the live music scene. The duo have a wealth of performing experience having previously worked on numerous worldwide contracts for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, P & O, Ocean Village, Bourne Leisure and many more. In November 2014 they decided to combine their talents to form a contemporary music duo for weddings and corporate events. As Avenue Acoustic Duo, they perform a wide range of popular cover songs in their own individual, stripped-back style. Using close vocal harmonies against a backdrop of acoustic guitar, they create a sound that is unmistakably ‘Avenue Acoustic Duo’. They can make you laugh (their jokes are occasionally funny) and cry (Adele songs usually work!). Avenue can deliver anything from a heartfelt wedding ballad to a crowd pleasing rock anthem. They love to engage and involve the audience and can really get the party started. The most important thing is that everybody has the BEST time – whether it’s a wedding, party or corporate event.
